About NEIL

Background

After four decades as a frontline civil litigator and counselor involving matters of significance as a partner in the Dallas office of national and international law firms, I made a change. I transitioned much of my traditional law practice to my friends and colleagues at my former firm and retired from the firm in the Summer of 2022. It has been a truly fulfilling career and we continue to collaborate on various pending and new matters.

Going Forward

But I still love the law. I want to serve others by using my experience and my gifts in a variety of legal matters. The law is a powerful tool for good when exercised properly and yes, it can right many wrongs. Accordingly, I have established Neil Rambin Law, PLLC with the goal of creating a robust law practice using my skill sets and experience as a litigator, strategist and counselor, particularly involving insurance issues and mass tort claims where insurance is often implicated.

EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE

PROFESSIONAL FOCUS

Resolution of disputes (in court, out of court and via arbitration) involving the property & casualty insurance industry;
Litigating on behalf of, and advising insurance carriers regarding their obligations to their insureds and other insurers, including the coverages provided by their insurance policies, their course of dealing with their insureds, the coverage provided by other carriers, the potential of extra-contractual and excess of policy limits claims and litigation avoidance;
Trial and management of mass litigation, including addressing relevant insurance coverage issues and managing and litigating the underlying substantive mass litigation issues on the merits;
Service as an expert witness regarding coverage issues and the handling of claims by property and casualty insurers.
